The FWPOA, founded in 1948, advocates for responsible government that prioritizes smart and efficient policing. We represent our members on the local, state, and national level to ensure that public safety remains a top priority.
Who We Are
The FWPOA is comprised of sworn Fort Worth Police Officers who are elected by a membership of 1,700 sworn police officers. Our Board of Directors has more than 200 years of combined experience protecting and serving the citizens of Fort Worth.
Who We Represent
We represent more than 1,700 of the finest police officers in the United States of America. No matter the gender, race, ethnicity, or rank, the FWPOA is committed to providing every member with effective advocacy and a respected voice on a local, state, and federal level.
