FY 2009/2010

Second Year - effective September 26, 2009 for the City's fiscal year 2009/2010, a three percent (3%) general wage increase will be applied to the pay plan for each of the above classification. New steps will be created in the pay plan for each classification. Newly-creted steps will be approximately at the mid-point between the previous year's existing E and F steps, the F and G steps, the G and H steps, and the Hand I steps. (Example: This second year pay plan will consist of thirteen (13) steps labeled A through M for the police officer classification). Advancement between steps A through E will require one year of service time for each step increased based on each covered Officer's respective anniversary date. After the E step, advancement through the remaining steps of the pay plan for each classification will require two years of service time for each step increase based on each Officer's respective anniversary date. A covered Officer's stel placement in the second year will be based upon years of service. Those eligible for a step increase during fiscal year 2009/2010 will receive their step pay on their respective annicersary date.
